How Miragiq helps on three friction points on cooling towers.

The Problem
  • Reactive operationsScale and biofouling found on the next visit.
  • Manual reportingCompliance packs rebuilt by hand every month.
  • Over-treated towersDays-old lab data keeps them well inside spec.
The Miragiq Solution
  • 01. Connect existing dataSensors, lab PDFs, CSVs. No new hardware.
  • 02. Simulate & forecastFirst-principles chemistry plus machine learning.
  • 03. Recommend & reportSetpoints and reporting, every tower.
The Impact
  • Fewer emergency calloutsDrift caught days early.
  • New contracts wonA software story competitors can't match.
  • Margin protectedReporting hours go back to engineering.
How it works

Your data goes in. Miragiq thinks. Your team gets decisions out.

Live sensor readings, the lab reports, and the local weather forecast. Miragiq is built around it, so there is nothing to install and no procurement cycle before you see a result.

Watch Miragiq get ahead of a heatwave.

One worked example on hourly sensor data. On Tuesday Miragiq turns a temperature forecast into a projected bromine demand and warns that the residual will breach its control floor by Friday. Step through the week — or press play — and compare what actually happened (a small pre-emptive dose) against the dotted line showing the same tower with no action.

    The pilot program

Sign up for our pilot program.

We're in design-partner stage, working hands-on with a small number of service companies. If you'd like to see Miragiq run on one of your own towers, we'd love to show you — no pressure, no procurement cycle.

What you get in the 60-day pilot

A structured validation against one of your real towers, run jointly with your team. At the end you have evidence for whether Miragiq is part of your toolbox. The easiest way to start is a short demo call.

    Book a demo
    • 1 tower, your choice — pick a representative site
    • Minimal cost for the pilot — we're investing in the validation as much as you are
    • No new hardware — we work with what your sites already produce
    • Joint written readout at day 60 — including the cases where Miragiq was wrong
    • Walk away with no obligation if it isn't a fit for your fleet

    Data audit

Days 1–14. We look at your site's real data and give an honest readout on where Miragiq would help — and where it wouldn't.

    Shadow recommendations

Days 15–45. Miragiq runs in parallel with your technicians, issuing recommendations without changing operations. Your team reviews every call.

    Measured outcomes

Days 46–60. A joint write-up of what was earlier or better, where Miragiq was wrong, and what it would take to deploy across the fleet.

    FAQ · Straight answers

    What people ask before signing.

    Liability & duties
If Miragiq flags low risk and something goes wrong, who's liable?+
Miragiq is decision-support, not a decision-maker. It surfaces what your data shows and recommends actions earlier than a lab cycle would — but the duty-holder for the site is still you and your client, exactly as it is today. Nothing it outputs transfers or reduces your statutory responsibility. It's there to put better information in your technicians' hands sooner, not to sign off on risk for you.
Does this replace my Legionella risk assessment, L8 / ACoP or ASHRAE 188 duties?+
No — it supports them. Miragiq helps you stay ahead of the conditions those frameworks care about, and makes the supporting evidence easier to assemble. But your risk assessment, your sampling regime and your compliance obligations stay exactly where they are. Treat it as a sharper early-warning layer underneath your existing programme, never a substitute for it.
    Accuracy & trust
How often is Miragiq wrong — and what happens when it is?+
We don't quote a single headline accuracy figure, because the honest one depends on your tower, your data and your chemistry — and we're still validating across sites. Instead, you see every call, the hits and the misses. Each recommendation can be marked "false positive," which feeds back into tuning, and the day-60 pilot readout sets out plainly where Miragiq was right, where it was wrong, and why.
How long before it's actually useful on a new tower?+
From day one it runs on first-principles water chemistry, so you get sensible output immediately — it doesn't need months of training to say anything useful. The machine-learning layer then calibrates to your specific tower over the first few weeks; by the shadow phase of the pilot (days 15–45) it's tuned to how your asset actually behaves, not a generic model.
    Data, IT & security
Where's my data stored, who owns it, and is it GDPR-compliant?+
Your data stays yours — you own it, and you can export or remove it at any time. It's hosted in the EU and handled in line with the GDPR, under a standard data-processing agreement: you remain the data controller, we act only as the processor on your behalf.
Will you use my fleet's data to help a competitor?+
No. What Miragiq learns about your towers — the site memory that makes it sharper over time — stays inside your company. We don't pool your operating data into a shared model that a competing service company benefits from. The edge it builds is yours.
What if I've no SCADA, old probes or odd lab formats? How much IT work is this on me?+
Very little, and no new hardware. If you have live feeds we take them; if you don't, CSV exports and lab PDFs work just as well — that's the normal case, not a fallback. We handle the ingestion and the cleaning, so your team isn't building integrations, and during the pilot the setup is on us.
    Adoption
Will my technicians actually use it, or is it another dashboard nobody opens?+
It's built for the person on the tower, not a data scientist. Recommendations come in plain language — what's drifting, why it matters, what to do — with one-tap Done, Dismiss, Why? and False positive, so the tech stays in control and the tool learns from their judgement. The aim is fewer, clearer calls, not a wall of charts. If your team doesn't find it useful in the pilot, that's exactly what the day-60 readout is meant to surface.
How many alerts will it throw? I've switched off noisy systems before.+
So have we — which is why alerts are prioritised (P1 / P2) and tuned to surface the few that matter rather than everything that moves. The "false positive" feedback tightens this for your sites over time. Alarm fatigue kills these tools, so keeping signal above noise is a design goal, not an afterthought.
    Commercial
What does it cost per tower once the pilot ends?+
We'd rather quote against your actual sites than post a list price that's wrong for most, so pricing is a short conversation once you've seen it work — scaled to the size of your fleet. The pilot is not free, but carries a minimal cost and no obligation to continue, so you get the evidence before any pricing discussion, then a straight quote for your towers.
Is there lock-in, or can I walk away?+
The pilot itself carries no obligation — if it isn't a fit, you walk away at day 60. After that it's month-to-month: no multi-year contract, cancel any time. Miragiq should earn its place on your fleet every month, not hold you to a signature.
    Chemistry independence
Does this tie me to one chemical supplier, or is it chemistry-agnostic?+
It's chemistry-agnostic. Miragiq models your water and your dosing whatever brand you run — it doesn't steer you toward a particular supplier's products, and switching chemistry doesn't break it. The value is in reading your tower better, not in selling you chemicals.
    About

The layer that turns experience into software.

Miragiq was founded on a simple observation: the people who know cooling water best — service company technicians and managers — work without the software they deserve. Enterprise platforms exist, but they were never priced or designed for the SME service market.

Our digital twin combines first-principles water chemistry with the kind of data infrastructure that's normally reserved for the giants. The goal isn't to replace your engineers; it's to give them leverage.

We work closely with early partners to validate every recommendation against real sites, and we'd rather ship a smaller, sharper product than a bloated one.
